Jay-Z Interview Before Reasonable Doubt
Very RARE Jay-Z Interview before his classic debut Reasonable Doubt dropped. He speaks on his influence behind songs such as Cashmere Thoughts, D’Evils, and Brooklyn’s Finest. Also speaks on the state of Hip Hop at the time and the what he thinks the future of it is circa 1996. Love when rare footage like this gets released out of nowhere. Just wanna say…D’Evils one of Jay’s greatest songs ever, and Cashmere Thoughts got more “swag” juice than all of 2008 +2009 combined (PAUSE). (Goes back to bumping Reasonable Doubt every day again). His “Can’t Get With That” video after the jump.

No disrespect to The Purple Tape but the mentality and emotions that Hov depicted of the underworld slash hustling lifestyle on Reasonable Doubt remains unmatched…just my opinion

Due to the packaging of The original Purple Tape and how it influenced the game period, upon making a careful mental analysis/comparisons I’ve come to my senses and I gotta retract that last statement I made putting Reasonable Doubt over OB4CL lol
